WATERCOLOURS

I  next decided to explore the ‘delights’ of watercolour, and took myself off to a course at Weobley in Herefordshire run by the excellent Bob Kilvert.  

This quickly introduced the basic theory behind watercolour and how it goes down on paper.  The following pictures explore various techniques in watercolour

In many of these, the watercolour granulates and produces a stone like effect on the paper which can suit some pictures well
